Suffolk County Council supports THINK! campaigns at a local level. We also run our own promotions for motorcyclists.
“THINK!” National Campaigns
The Department for Transport (DfT) is responsible for “THINK!” road safety campaigns. The DfT is running two motorcycling campaigns, one aimed at urban commuters and the other targeting leisure riders. You can find more detail about these campaigns by following this link click here. A summary of each campaign is outlined below.
Urban Commuter
The THINK! motorcycle safety campaign encouraging drivers in an urban environment to "THINK! Take longer to look for bikes", through TV and radio ads. At the same time, riders are reminded how to make sure that they are seen via an outdoor poster campaign.

One element of the activity is a 30 second TV advert encouraging urban car drivers to look longer for bikes.
Leisure Riders
Motorcycle safety for leisure riders is accessed through The Academy, which is a platform for safety messages from professional riders to all bikers, both at BSB and to the wider biking community.
The Academy will be present at all of the British rounds of the championship, and you can also gain access to advice from experts through its website. The site hosts top tips for you and your bike: click here

“The Academy was established to provide you advice from the experts to help give your bike the skills it deserves.”
