Suffolk Ride donates £500 to the East Anglian Air Ambulance
Suffolk Ride, the motorcycle partnership supported by Suffolk County Council, donated £500 this month to the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

The money was raised at the Felixstowe Motorcycle Show, a free event held along the promenade in May 2009. The show was supported by Suffolk County Council, Suffolk Police and Suffolk Coastal District Council, who allowed various road closures.
The whole day was geared to motorcycle safety with full support from various training bodies. These included Suffolk Police who run very popular motorcycle training days, various other professional rider training businesses, and the volunteers of Suffolk Advanced Motorcyclists.
Visiting bikers were encouraged to think about some extra training and thereby reduce accident rates in the county. By the day the Police training courses were fully booked for the year. Despite playing host to thousands of motorcyclists, local police were delighted to report that there were no instances of speeding or dangerous riding reported on the day.
