Training - Rider Plus Scheme

Course aims:

To promote a positive riding attitude
• Peer pressure
• Group riding
• Attitudes to other road users

To develop risk reduction strategies
• Protective clothing
• Visibility issues
• Machine control technique

To develop observation, anticipation and planning skills
• Urban settings
• Rural settings
• Filtering
• Positioning
• Overtaking

The scheme is aimed at Suffolk based riders who have recently passed their DSA 'big bike' test or returned to riding after a break.   On successful completion of the course, riders will also gain the DSA Enhanced Rider certificate.

The cost of the course is £125. On completion you can apply for £25 off your insurance through Lexham Insurance.
